My parents and my family are interested in renovating my parents house to accomadate a mother-daughter setup. It is a cape style house, dormored, but we would like to raise the entire roof, making a full upstairs (3 bedrooms and 2 baths). Also , my mom had added a family room to her existing house (originally a 2 bed one bath cape) and we wanted to extend that family room to accomadate a living space for them (1 bedroom, 1 office a kitchenette and handicapped accesible bath) We'd love to have an estimate on this project. I have a bathtub/shower combo with some cabinets directly abover it making for a very enclosed space that I would like to completely redo. I envision having the cabintes above the shower/tub gutted and then a new shower/tub with nice large tile and new faucet/shower fixtures and a couple of recessed lights placed in above the bathing space.
